Dr. Molly Montes has been practicing pediatrics for over a decade. She has loved working with kids since her childhood in Seattle, babysitting and serving as volunteer educator in classrooms and on tall ships throughout high school and college at Yale University. She received her MD from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and came to Utah in 2011 to serve her pediatric residency at Primary Children’s. The sunshine and mountain access encouraged her to stay in SLC and she joined Southwest Children's Clinic in 2014.

Dr. Montes loves coming to work to interact with kids of all ages, rock out to the clinic music, and work with the fabulous team at SWCC. Particular interests include asthma, ADHD, constipation, MSK issues, and infant care. In 2020, she became a certified lactation counselor (CLC) to better serve families in their breastfeeding journey.

Outside of clinic, Dr. Montes likes to hike and adventure with her husband and two kids, make and enjoy food, and snuggle up with a book and her two cats.
