Our doctors calculate your child's skill set as they enter these milestones and compare them with most children their age. You and our doctor decide if your child meets these expected skill sets. Are they ahead of other children, or are they running behind?
There is no better way to monitor possible developing mental health problems than through milestone visits. These allow treatments to start as soon as possible, when they can provide the most benefit.
All children grow and develop at individual rates. However, your child should arrive at milestones with many of the same skills as other children in their age group. Each wellness checkup includes a comprehensive assessment including an exam of your child and questions for the parents about how their child is doing.
