It’s a journey filled with milestones, challenges, and unforgettable moments, and our pediatricians are here to support you every step of the way.
We are honored that you are considering us as your baby’s doctor, and we deeply value the trust families place in us.
Watching children grow, thrive, and achieve their milestones is one of the greatest privileges of working in pediatrics, and it’s a responsibility we take to heart every day.
What To Bring
- Any paperwork from the hospital, including hearing screen results, immunization records, and the newborn screening card (usually in a pink envelope).
- Any available insurance information (often only the parent’s insurance is available at the first visit).
- Plenty of diapers and an extra set of clothes.
- Complete new patient forms via the link that will be sent to you via text or email.
Before Your First Appointment
A few weeks before delivery, call the office to let us know you are expecting and ensure we accept your insurance.
When the happy day has arrived, you can tell the hospital staff that you have chosen us as your pediatrician. If you deliver at IMC, Riverton, Holy Cross-Jordan Valley, or Lone Peak Hospitals, our pediatricians have rounding privileges. Once you notify the staff that we are your child's pediatrician, the hospital will let us know when you delivered and a provider from our group will come see your baby in the hospital.
If you deliver at another hospital not mentioned above, that's ok! A pediatric group that has rounding privileges at that hospital will see your baby and then you can call our clinic to set up your baby's first appointment.
We recommend that your newborn be seen in our office 1-2 days after discharge from the hospital. Our staff understands the importance of this first visit and will make every effort to schedule this visit promptly.
