How often do well-child visits happen?
The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends that children start having these checkups after birth. Here are the ages that your child should come in for a visit: 3-5 days after birth; 1, 2, 4, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 24 and 30-months old; and at 3 and 4 years old.
After your child turns four, they should come back once a year for a physical exam to make sure they are healthy and everything is still developing as it should.
